About Lisa
von lisa turner
Hello all!!!
My name is Lisa Turner, and I am the owner and creator of the website pay-it-forward-for-companion-puppy.org. I was a normal healthy young women who enjoyed life. I got a nursing degree and ended up in pediatric nursing specializing in trachs, and vents. Before that I was a CNA who worked assisted living, long term care, and home health/hospice. I enjoyed life, going to lake, hanging out with friends, reading books, dating, though my taste in men needs adjustments, playing with my daughter, camping, and basically always being on the go.
When I turned 30 things changed............
My long, frustrating and scary trip into the other side of the medical world had begun. It started with my kidneys, moved on to very dangerous bleeding ulcer, then the start of my movement disorder with pseudo seizures, a ripped uterus, fibromyagia, psoriatic arthritis, and lots of pneumonias, my body turning septic, neuropathology in my feet, and most recent my kidneys trying to give out. I've had multiple surgeries, and you could say I'm no stranger to pain, and coming close to death. So I get SSI and try to live on $600 per month. I promise that is the end of most of my boohooing.
I still love to laugh, am a little sarcastic, read, crochet when my hands will let me, go on small walks if my legs will let me, play on my computer, play dragonvale on my phone, and other things as my body, or mind, as I have some psychological problems as well. I've done lots of research and will share with you how having this puppy can help me, and in what ways, after I explain throughly my medical issues so you can see the benefits. The only problem I have is that I can't come up with the amount needed to get the teacup yorkie which I chose after careful research into dogs, and I will also explain about. I don't drive, or really get out, and haven't dated in a while and this little bundle of joy will bring so much love and happiness into my life. I ask you to pay forward what you can, then share this site with your friends, family, social media, church members, ect.
Thank You All!!

A Little About Me Today............
My name is Lisa Turner. I am a single mom who is 37 yrs old. I am disabled, and trying afford a companion animal. I have found someone to work with me to train my puppy, in which I get to help as much as possible. I have a movement disorder called psychogenic distonia with pseudo seizures. This makes make twitch, fall, and
have fake seizures which can go for hours and look like a bad version of the exorcist. I also have fibromyalgia which makes my muscles ache all the time and severe Psoriatic Arthritis which makes every joint I have feel as if its broken along with neuropathology in my feet which are numb but sting , burn, and feel like I'm being stabbed, This also makes my legs give out again, and which I now half the time have to use a walker The medicine so far has put me in the hospital 6 times in 8 months with severe pneumonia, and most recently my kidneys tried to stop working. On top of this I'm bipolar, major depression, bad anxiety, and PTSD.
Why I Feel I Need A Companion..............
I'm not able to get out and make friends, nor can I drive anywhere, so I feel I need something little, a teacup yorkie, thats fun and playful but mild mannered, to love and love me. There have been studies done, that having such an animal helps all of the psychological disorders and helps even dull pain. My disability pays me 600 a month which barely covers my living costs, and since my move I didn't get any money at all this month of July.
What The Donation Will Be Used For...............
The money covers the puppy, help with training, buying supplies, and it's next set of shots. I just moved to Utah in may so this will be the best friend I'll have. To get such a wonderful gift will mean the world to me. I need the funds as soon as I can get them as the puppy in the picture is named Sidney, and is the puppy I'd
really like to get. She is 8 weeks old.
Pay It Forward, Even By Sharing This Site............
I have looked all over for other financial aid but this is all I could really find, I thought if maybe all of my online friends gave up to 5 dollars then I'd be able to get my puppy very quickly.
I hope you can find it in your hearts to pay it forward and help me with my dream, Thank you for reading all of this.
