Bernie Sanders Does Your NHS Include Death Panels?

The Bernie Sanders camp said that on Monday he will be announcing all the goodies that he will be giving away for "Free" for his upcoming 2020 run for the White House. One of these freebies will be his National Healthcare System (NHS).

Of course, "free" isn't actually free. He will, of course, cry "The 1% pay XX% of taxes and that's not fair."  If any "Fake News" reporters actually goes out and buys a calculator, they will see you can have a 100% tax rate on every 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5%er in America and we would still be billions of dollars short of what would be needed.

Many will concentrate on Bernie's new gimmick a job for every worker and a chicken in every pot. He will claim EVERYONE gets a $15 an hour job and like morons, the liberals will believe it.

Myself I would rather concentrate on his "Free", not free National healthcare system (NHS) since Alfie Evans is in the news. There is a chance Alfie may not be with us when Bernie and his college scam artist wife take the stage on Monday. But Alfie Evans will still be big news and while Alfie is still on the front page I would ask Bernie one simple question.

Will Bernie Sanders tell us about his death panel? There is no getting around that Bernie's "Free" not free National Healthcare System (NHS) will be motivated not by what's good for the patient but "Cost vs Profit."

Years ago when the Republicans brought up "Death Panels" the left laughed saying "What do you think three people in a room are going to pass judgment on whether your child lives or dies?" Ummm YES!

Three Court of Appeal judges rejected the parents' latest legal bid on Wednesday. Judge Andrew McFarlane said nothing had changed since a previous court ruling that Alfie's treatment should end.

High Court Justice Anthony Hayden dismissed the parents' case on Tuesday, and said his ruling represented "the final chapter in the life of this extraordinary little boy."

The Alfie Evans case in Britain is the very reason why America should never have an NHS.

Sooner rather than later a child will be born that will have a medical condition where he could spend his life hooked to machines that cost money or be taken off and allowed to die.

Who will make that decision Bernie? Not the parents according to the Alfie Evans case.

In spite of the Pope sending the British Government a personal plea to release Alfie into the Vatican's care. In spite of the Italian Government granting Alfie Italian citizenship. The death panel of judges refused to allow the boy to go to Italy for fear that he may live. Who did the death panel listen to? The Doctors, not the parents.

The left would call it an "Ethical" decision. In my book it's murder.

If I see a man on fire, and a doctor said "Well he is burnt over 90% of his body, It'll cost a lot of money and he won't even live... Do we just let him burn until he is dead? That example may seem far-fetched but it is the truth. Cost vs Profit.

So now the left can no longer laugh at the notion of "death panels." Because Alfie Evans proved that is not the case, now the question to Bernie Sanders is. Who makes the final decision? Who has the final say if a Doctor believes it's ethically better for your child to die? The parents or the doctor?

Once Bernie answers that question, then we can talk about his "Free", not free National Healthcare System.
