VIDEO: Sean Spicer fires back at Fake News Jim Acosta

Sean Spicer fired back at Jim Acosta on Fox & Friends Wednesday over comments the CNN reporter made about the former White House press secretary.






In Variety, Acosta discussed the Trump administration’s labeling the media as “fake news,” and lamented that “people around the country don’t know it’s an act.”

“They’re not in on the act and they take what he says very seriously and they take attacks from Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders and what they do to us on a daily basis very seriously,” Acosta said. “They don’t have all their faculties in some cases — their elevator might not hit all floors.”

Spicer, who was appearing on the show to promote his upcoming book The Briefing, said Acosta features in his memoir of six months in the White House.

Ainsley Earhardt compared Acosta’s comments to Hillary Clinton’s damning “deplorables” remark. Spicer went on to say that CNN reporter’s “continues to show a lack of understanding” of “what’s going on in this country.”

Spicer argued that media elites like Acosta need to understand what’s going on in “rural America.”

“So, for Jim not to understand that, and for him to continue to dismiss, and frankly make fun of and ridicule people around this country, is really sad and really shows you how little of an understanding they have of what’s happening in this country,”

The former press secretary added that he would expect such comments from a “liberal activist.”

April Ryan went so far as to declare, President Trump calling the Mainstream Media "Fake News" threatens the pillars of democracy. Now, if that isn't fake news I'm not sure what is?

I would simply tell Jim Acosta, April Ryan, Rachael Madcow and the rest of the fake news media "If you can't cover President Trump feeding some Koi Fish in Japan without lying, then how in the hell are we supposed to trust the news on something really important?"
