Ted Cruz Tweetstorms his outrage over Alfie Evans
Ted Cruz spoke out against what was happening with Alfie Evans the innocent child that the British courts have decided to listen to the wishes of the Doctors and lawyers rather than those of Alfie's parents.

Now, of course, liberals were outraged, at Senator Cruz claiming he ignored the fact that for 16-months Alfie's medical bills were taken care of since they have the Bernie Sanders "Free not free healthcare system."

Then they disparaged the US healthcare system. They, of course, ignore the fact that anyone can walk into a hospital and receive treatment FREE of charge. No one has the best healthcare system, if you hear "free" then even if the people pay 100% taxes, then the "Free" clinics will always, always make decisions based on cost vs profit. Profit as in what will it cost to save 70-year-old grandma vs letting her die.

"Free healthcare" doesn't mean it's good. I can feed all the homeless people in America cat food and tell the world "Our country feeds our homeless people." Calling it free and spewing "They pay nothing" will never change the fact that I am still feeding them cat food.

Alfie Evans was born on May 9, 2016 in the United Kingdom. When he was only several months old, he was struck by a mysterious illness, and slipped into coma.

Doctors initially thought that Alfie would not survive long, but he fought back time and time again, until a chest infection forced him to rely on a ventilator.

Alfie’s parents, Kate James and Tom Evans, wish to seek experimental treatments for what is thought to be a mitochondrial condition. Italy has granted Alfie citizenship and offered to transport him to a Vatican hospital.

But UK and European courts have denied their right to seek alternate treatments for their son and instead have forcibly kept him in a hospital. Now they have turned off the ventilator and are waiting for him to die.

Alfie’s life support was turned off two days ago. NHS doctors expected that he would pass away within minutes. Again, he fought back; at the time of this writing, he is continuing to breathe without assistance. But time is of the essence.
