Alfie Evans Is Why The NRA Protects Our 2nd Amendment Rights
The left laugh at pro-second amendment supporters when we try to explain that the Second Amendment has never been about hunting or rednecks having fun on the weekend, it has been, and always shall be about our right to protect and if need be fight back against a tyrannical government.
November 11, 1938, this date should be memorized by any NRA supporter. What's so important about that date? It was called Kristallnacht often referred to as the "Night of Broken Glass." On this date, Adolf Hitler issued orders forcing Jews to wear the Star of David. The Nazi's were in the process of taking every gun from the Jewish people, so they were left nothing but sheep for the upcoming "Nanny State" slaughter.
History has proven one thing over and over again, a government can never be trusted. The government cares little for an average citizen like Alfie Evans, and that is the reality of the "Nanny State."
Recently Great Britain has proven that point on so many levels.
As we speak there are rape gangs preying on hundreds of women in Britain. Why won't the British Government do anything to stop them? Because then they will have to admit that letting in thousands of unvetted Muslim men probably wasn't the best idea. So the "End justifies the means." better to let a few get raped than have the "Nanny State" be questioned.
When the murder rate of London surpassed New York City the London Mayor decided instead of blaming it on, and cracking down on the gangs, he decided to ban cutlery. Why? because that would make the "Nanny State" look racist and as we all know a "Nanny State" can't be racist. So the Government is willing to sacrifice a few lives because "The End justifies the means." Better to lose a few lives, then have the "Nanny State" threatened.
Now, at this moment the Government has decided that Alfie Evans dying in Great Britain would be far better for them, rather than seeing him go to Italy and be proven wrong. To Liberals "The End Justifies the means" is more important than any single life.
For the "Nanny State" the world it's far better if just one child dies than the alternative. If the chances are 0.01% that Alfie lives, that is far to great a risk for the British Government. Because if Alfie lives, then others will speak out against the "Nanny State" and then chaos may ensue.
In spite of the fact that Alfie has already proven them wrong, Britain's Court of Appeal on Wednesday rejected a new bid by the parents of Alfie Evans to take him to Italy and continue his life support. The courts ruled with the wishes of his doctors that Alfie should die. Which should frighten anyone from the "Nanny State" chose to outright dismiss the wishes of the parents?
Doctors say the 23-month-old boy suffers from a degenerative neurological condition that has left him in a "semi-vegetative state" with almost no brain function. I'm sorry I may be old, but not so old as to not remember a time when you didn't pull the plug before a doctor told the family "There is NO brain function." I must have missed the memo where "Almost" now means "None?"
Medics caring for Alfie at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool have said further treatment is futile. This is the exact statement the "Nanny State" would release. Again, I am old so by that very definition I'm "Old-school." I just cannot accept "It's futile" as an excuse to murder a poor innocent child.
In my old fashioned ways, I would tell the "Nanny State" and Alfie's Doctors to go fuck yourself because if Alfie had been born to another Kate then I can guarantee you, until that last heartbeat, no doctor in Great Britain" would have dared uttered "Futile."
When Obamacare was being debated here in America, the left dismissed the right's notion of "Death Panels" just as easily as they do our Second Amendment arguments.
We'll liberals...
THIS IS WHAT A DEATH PANEL LOOKS LIKE!
Three Court of Appeal judges rejected the parents' latest legal bid on Wednesday. Judge Andrew McFarlane said nothing had changed since a previous court ruling that Alfie's treatment should end.
High Court Justice Anthony Hayden dismissed the parents' case on Tuesday, and said his ruling represented "the final chapter in the life of this extraordinary little boy."
I love the fact that the courts said Alfie Evans was "Extraordinary." Alfie wasn't "Extraordinary" he was just an average little boy who was sick. Then he gave the courts the middle finger by refusing to die as the "Nanny State" predicted.
NOW! Alfie Evans IS an extraordinary little boy because he took up the mantle that Charlie Gard had left him. He represents the hopes of all those "Extraordinary" children yet to come that soon the people of Great Britain will tell the "Nanny State" that parent's and whatever God they pray to actually mean something, and despite the left's inability to understand it, there is still such a thing called "Hope."
The left only care about a single life when it fits their agenda. Alfie Evans does not fit their agenda so they will remain silent because they know they can't win the debate. If Alfie had passed away on Monday, sure as hell liberals would have dragged out their soapboxes and screamed, ironically to the heavens, about how Doctors knew all along what was best for Alfie.
Monday Bernie Sanders will announce all the freebies that the American people will have to pay for with 90% tax rates. When he mentions "Free Healthcare for all" remember Alfie Evans and Charlie Gard two shining examples of Government controlled healthcare.
It would be wonderful if one of the not "fake news" reporters asked Sanders what will his "Free Healthcare For All" deiced if Alfie was an American? I am sure he will stumble and bumble some nonsensical answer as he does when asked: "How will America pay for all this?"
Sorry liberals but Charlton Heston had it right when he said the Government can take my guns "From my cold, dead hands." You'll never repeal the Second Amendment because we need to protect ourselves and our families from your Death Panels because our morals and our ethics have taught us that trying to save a life will never be considered "Futile."
Alfie's parents Tom Evans and Kate James are far better people than I because they have shown the grace and dignity that I doubt I possess. I have no doubt that just as easily as I would give my life to save someone, I would be willing to take it if the "Nanny State" dared to do what is happening to Alfie Evans at this very moment.
I not only extend my sympathy to Alfie's parents but I am awestruck by their courage and ability to remain at peace.
May God Bless and watch over Alfie, Tom, and Kate.
