David Hogg's Book Cannot Be Allowed To Appropriate #NeverAgain As It's Title
First, let me say for the record, I applaud these kids for using the freedom America has provided them to speak out. I would give my life to protect their right to advocate for gun-control. That is what America is about! The right to convince me I am wrong, or fail and prove me right.

Long ago I came to Cameron Kasky's Twitter feed @NeverAgainMSD. That page describes itself as “For survivors of the Stoneman Douglas Shooting, by survivors of the Stoneman Douglas Shooting.” I believe he was the first to use this handle/hashtag. I may be wrong and I apologize in advance if that is indeed the case.

Some made mention to me early on, that they were upset of his appropriating "Never Again." I actually started to write an article but stopped after a few hundred words.  Between BluePillSheep.com and my other site WildlifePlanet.Net, I have written over 3,500 articles.

My belief in trying to always take into account the other sides point of view has forced me to delete at least that many articles. I would simply come to a point in writing an article and felt like I was nitpicking the subject matter.

Originally I started this story a few days before the"March for our lives" March 24th, gun grab rally in Washington D.C. After a few hundred words in, something started gnawing at my ethics. It was the fact that Cameron Kasky used NeverAgainMSD.

The added "MSD" to me had created a completely different phrase and context from that of "Never Again," so I felt that it would be petty of me to address this issue at that point. So I deleted that story and moved on.

But the other day the"#NeverAgain" hashtag story became a legitimate story once again. In fact, I now feel it's far more than just your average everyday article.
The Appropriation of "#NeverAgain" For Profits
We recently had written an article about the absolute insanity of David Hogg, a person who has confessed, cannot spell, nor punctuate, announcing he will be writing a book.

This "Traumatized Child" has every right to write any book he likes, because the free market will determine it's validity. My biggest complaint is that his book will be written by someone not named David Hogg. The person writing it will be from Media matters or a George Soros employee, or some other leftist website, but the one certainty is David Hogg will not write one word.

How do I know this? It would be an impossibility for David Hogg to write his first ever book, have it edited, printed and distributed by the announced release date of June 5th.

That is roughly 6-weeks from now. I myself have written five novels, the first one Savage Earth: The Last Sister Planet took months to write. Any writer knows it takes a good writer an entire day just to write a well thought out 2,000-word article. A regular novel contains roughly 80,000 words. Anything below 60,000 words, you're talking about a thick pamphlet.

Any experienced writer would take at least 5 weeks to whip our a small novel. Then, of course, it has to be edited, then re-writes, then editing again, then printing and finally distributing.

If I was determined, did not take a day off and worked my butt off, maybe I can get everything accomplished in three months. But a real-time frame would be more like six months.

But David Hogg is trying to convince us that a barely literate 17-year-old, on top of making his CNN appearances, conducting his town halls across America, taking final exams, graduation and let's not forget actually working on getting gun control regulations passed. All that and STILL write, edited, re-write, edit, get it set up for the printers, and distribute his book, all in six weeks?

WOW! I might as well start writing about Flying Unicorns pooping rainbows because that would be far more believable. So the reality is David Hogg told a person what he did over the past 8-weeks and that person will write that, add in whatever agenda talking points they want and get it all set for print.

Beyond the stupidity of David Hogg writing the actual book, this petulant child had the audacity to believe he can profit off of a whole generation's sacrifice, without being called out on it?

When I saw his tweet and the cover of the book I was outraged, first because he was going to profit off the 17 innocent lives that were taken during the parkland school shooting.

I was also outraged knowing for a fact that at least three kids who died in that attack would never have supported David Hogg's gun grab. They would, in fact, have been supporting Kyle Kashuv's position.

So for David Hogg to promote his book under the guise of "Doing it for the 17" is reprehensible.

The Appropriation of "Never Again"
I can not conceive the number of times I have heard some liberal group crying "These white privilege, racists are stealing someone else's culture." Their crime? Some white kid sporting cornrows, or a shirt designed similar to that of a native Americans.

David Hogg's handlers are trying to appropriate the "Never Again" for their book because it sounds cool and will be profitable. They could have went with #Enough, #Nevermore, #Not Ever, But they probably ran it through a focus group and "Never Again" came out the winner.

The problem is "Never Again" has long been linked to the Holocaust commemorative.

I have mentioned David Hogg's attempting to hijack "Never Again." I have also included a little blurb in a few of my more recent stories. Since Thursday I have gotten into some back and forth's with a few liberal David Hogg defenders, which provided me with examples of what kind of defense they will use.

There only kids they have no idea of the historical significance of "Never Again":

Ignorance is not an excuse. You can easily Google "Never Again" and you'll quickly discover the origins and the meaning of why "Never Again" has been so woven into the  tapestry of the Holocaust commemorative.

Because David Hogg and his group are uninformed imbeciles are too lazy to do some research is not, and shall never be considered a valid argument to let them use the #NeverAgain hashtag.

The main argument to allow David Hogg to profit off of "NeverAgain is two-fold:


"Never Again" is a universal saying and it's meaning is obvious.


The Holocaust "Never Again" are being used for the same purpose as David Hogg's "Never Again" so what is the big deal?


Please note: The photos below are not meant to trick you, so when you answer the question there are no hidden agenda's.
Below are two pictures, the protest to the left is from a Jewish Holocaust commemoration where you'll see hundreds of "Nie Wieder" (German for Never Again) signs. The picture to the right is from one of the  "March For Our Lives" demonstrations that took place across the United States.
Are they the same? Again it's not a trick question. 

If you were reading this in the United States then approximately 98.6% of you would say they see no difference. How could I possibly come up with that number? 1.4% of the United States is Jewish.

Going forward when I write "Jewish people" I do not mean every single Jewish person. So please don't write "I'm Jewish and I believe like David Hogg." I am not arguing that David Hoggis wrong. or I am write or vice-versa.

This is about David Hogg appropriating the "Never Again" title for his book.

The major difference in the two photos is the meaning behind the "Never Again," signs.
To the David Hogg's supporters "Never Again" means

Never again shall we stand by and watch innocent children get killed in another senseless gun attack. There is no reason why ordinary people should have the right to own weapons such as the AR-15. The AR-15 is a weapon of war! It is not used for hunting. It sole purpose is to inflict as much damage as possible on human beings.

Never Again will we allow our politicians, who have been paid off with NRA blood money, to do nothing about Gun control as more and more of our children get slaughtered.

For the Jewish people who survived the Holocaust or family members honoring those who have been lost "Never Again" means:

Never Again will we allow ourselves to be so defenseless that we were lead like lambs to the slaughter. Never again will we allow ourselves to be disarmed, and left defenseless.

Six million Jewish lives were butchered by the most vile evil to have ever set foot on God's gift to her people, and we could do nothing to fight back. Last time, we behaved like sheep, Never Again.

As you can see the meanings are vastly different, in fact, their messages are polar opposites of each other.

Let's set aside the fact that David Hogg's only desire to use "NeverAgain" is to slap it on  his book, and profit off of it.

If David Hogg and the "March For Our Lives" supporters are allowed to appropriate "Never Again" they will be stepping on the graves of not only the 6 million Jews that were slaughtered by Hitler and his Nazi party.

But the approximately 14 million who were killed before and during World War II. These 20 Million were not soldiers, they were just innocent men, women, and children that were slaughtered at the hands of the Nazi's.
The History of "Never Again."
Some credit "Never Again" to Hebrew poet, Yitzhak (Issac) Lamdan (1899–1954) he is remembered above all for his ‘epic’ poem Masada, written between 1923 and 1926 in which he wrote “Never shall Masada fall again!”

The phrase "Never Again" and what it represents in our modern culture, was brought into our consciousness in the late 1960's by militant rabbi Meir Kahane.

Kahane was a staunch defender of the Jewish people and he believed violence begets violence. He created the Jewish Defense League (JDL) in 1968 as well as the Israeli political party Kach ("Thus").

In 1972 he titled his book-length manifesto "Never Again." He supported violence against the enemies of the Jewish people, calls for emergency Jewish mass migration to Israel due to a potential "second Holocaust" in the United States.

As the president of the American Jewish Committee, Sholom Comay, said after Kahane’s assassination in November 1990, “Despite our considerable differences, Meir Kahane must always be remembered for the slogan Never Again, which for so many became the battle cry of post-Holocaust Jewry.”

Kahane used Never Again to justify acts of terror in the name of fighting antisemitism. In the anthem of the Jewish Defense League, members recited, “To our slaughtered brethren and lonely widows: Never again will our people’s blood be shed by water, Never again will such things be heard in Judea.”

The people who I had discourse with at Twitter were arguing that "Never Again" has a universal meaning. That meaning is of course, Never shall we allow this to happen again.

I absolutely agree with their sentiment.

But the moment "Never Again" is placed on a book that promotes disarming United States citizens then it's Idiomatic expression becomes promoting a message that is in complete opposition from the "Never Again" that grew out of the Holocaust and had taken decades to take hold in our collective consciousness.

There is no debating what "Never Again" meant. For Meir Kahane, "Never Again" was, simply put, a call to arms. He felt it was shameful the alleged passivity of the Jews in the face of their destruction.

Kahane said:

"The motto Never Again does not mean that ‘it’ will never happen again. That would be nonsense. It means that if it happens again, it won’t happen in the same way. Last time, the Jews behaved like sheep.”

Just to make sure there could never be any doubt of what Rabbi Kahane true "Never Again" phrase meant... His second-most-famous phrase was “Every Jew a .22.”
Particular v Universal
When the phrase "Never Again" is used to invoke the Holocaust, it could be either particular or universal. Particular is "A Call To Arms." Universal is determined by the listener and/or the speaker's words, and/or the context of when "Never Again" is spoken.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used "Never Again" as a particular during a speech at the site of the former Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp marking International Holocaust Memorial Day in 2010.

“I promise, as head of the Jewish state, that never again will we allow the hand of evil to sever the life of our people and our state,”

But Netanyahu has also used the phrase in its universal sense:

“We are deeply moved by the memorial to the victims of one history’s greatest crimes — and reminded of the haunting similarities to the genocide of our own people. Never again.”

In 2008 President Bush visit this holy site and using the Particular sense said

"At this historic site, Israeli soldiers swear an oath: 'Masada shall never fall again.' Citizens of Israel: Masada shall never fall again, and America will always stand with you."

President Barack Obama also used the phrase but did so in its universal sense in marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day in 2011.

“We are reminded to remain ever-vigilant against the possibility of genocide and to ensure that Never Again is not just a phrase but a principled cause. And we resolve to stand up against prejudice, stereotyping, and violence – including the scourge of anti-Semitism – around the globe.”

As you are reading Obama's statement he does not provide any context for what he means by "Never Again" we do know he meant never again in its universal form as in "Never Again" will we allow this to happen.

But the reader is allowed to form his own answer in how "Never Again" shall be achieved. In Obama's case, I am sure it was "Diplomatically". In my case, it is to take up arms and fight to the death, if need be.

That is why his "Never Again" would be considered "Universal."

So, while some of David Hogg supporters argue it can be used for both they would be correct. "Never Again" has dual meaning but there is one very large caveat.

It only has this dual meaning when spoken or used without context. Verbally saying it, allows the person or the surroundings to supply the context of what ultimately "Never Again" means.

So David Hogg using it at a "March For Our Lives" really does not betray the memories of those 6 million Jews who were murdered by a malevolence we can Never Again allow to exist.

If Emma Gonzalez wore a "Never Again" t-shirt I would have no problem with that at all. If she was walking through a Jewish neighborhood, unless the person seeing the shirt actually spoke to Enma, any Jewish person would think "That's a good kid, she will take up arms and fight anyone that comes to try and slaughter us, because "Never Again."

If Emma were to talk to a Jewish person while wearing her "Never Again" shirt, then they could engage in civil discourse as to its meaning. Again there would be no disrespect to those cherished memories that were slaughtered by Hitler and his Nazi party.

David Hogg naming his book "Never Again" provides that context and that is unacceptable because it goes against the very meaning that had slowly developed over generations.

If someone of Jewish faith picked up that book and saw that it was about Gun-Control and handing your weapons to the Government, no words could describe their outrage about David Hogg perverting "Never Again." In fact if I had no idea who David Hogg was, I would truly believe a radial Muslim, using a Pseudonym, wrote the book, named it "Never Again" just to spit in the Jewish people face.

At worse I would believe the Palestinians were trying to disarm the Israeli people by introducing this book into the public discourse, and try to sway others into believing "diplomacy' is a better path for Israel to follow.

When an author,in this case David Hogg's book is providing the reader with the "Never Again" context there can be ONLY ONE meaning "A call to arms."

Any Book or movie titled "Never Again" the message must be "We will not be lambs to slaughter, we will fight and we will die if need be, but we will "Never Again" go quietly into that last good night.

David Hogg will change his book cover because the "Never Again" meaning in book form shall Never Again be "give up your arms to the Government," because that was done before, on Nov. 11, 1938 in Germany... Never Again.



Boycott Penguin Random House
Contact Penguin Random House tell them they must change David Hogg's book title. We will not allow him or anyone to appropriate "never Again" from the Jewish people. We will never forget the innocent victims of the Holocaust or their message to us, written in the blood of 6 million Jews "Never Again."

Do not be nasty, or disrespectful. Simply say what you want and hang up. Lock up their phones and social media accounts so they can no longer conduct business, nor promote their thousands of other books. By next weekend, or sooner, after a week of not being able to make calls, or conduct business they will cave.

Just tie them up and don't let them breath.
