Hillary Clinton Was Even Crazier Than We Thought
A new book from Amy Chozick has revelations and rumors about a doomed campaign.
Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling: by Amy Chozick, reveals that Hillary was a huge conspiracy nut, and she truly believed we were deplorables.
Speaking for myself what Chozick wrote in these two paragraphs perfectly sums up who Hillary Clinton is. It also not only explains why she lost, but why Hillary, the Democrats, and the Liberal loony toons will never understand how us 'deplorables' and Donald J. Trump connected so well, that together, we pulled off the greatest election upset in history.
Her consultants contemplated what to call this curious specimen of 121 million Americans who were technically middle class. Everyday Americans! It even sounded like Walmart’s Everyday Low Prices.
“Everyday Americans need a champion and I want to be that champion,” Mrs. Clinton repeated this corporate catchphrase for several months until her campaign tested 84 possible replacement slogans.
It was laughable when Hillary Clinton, almost daily, adding new people, cities, states, countries and an occasional animal or two as the cause of her loss. While we thought Hillary was just making it up, it turns out she actually believes it. Which is an even more frightening thought, then when we just thought she was bullshitting.
Imagine her as President dealing with as many leaks as Trump has to deal with? Her tin plated hat would be expanding so rapidly it'll look like she's wearing a Jiffy-Pop popcorn maker on her head.
Here are just a few of the goodies from the book, via the Daily Beast Gideon Resnick:
Her only clear vision of the presidency seemed to be herself in it.
Trump threw Clinton off message: “Hillary had berated our pea-size political brains for being uninterested in policy. Now, Trump had made her as devoid of substance as he was.”
Hillary reacted furiously to the prospect of a Joe Biden entering the race. “Biden had confided (off the record) to the White House press corps that he wanted to run, but he added something like ‘You guys don’t understand these people. The Clintons will try to destroy me.’”
From early on, the Clinton camp saw Trump as an enemy to encourage.
There was an effort to elevate Trump into a so-called Pied Piper in order to tie him to the mainstream of the Republican Party.
Robby thought Rubio would be the nominee.
Podesta was bullish on Kasich.
Bill and Hillary feared the Bush surname.
The almost daily reminder that half the country disliked her, made Hillary snap “You know, I am getting pretty tired of hearing about how nobody likes me.”
Hillary didn't want to hear the daily polls saying to a friend“‘Oh, what’s the point? They’re never going to like me,’
Donors asked what they planned to do to pull Hillary’s trust numbers out of the toilet. Podesta said "Nothing... I remember no one trusted Bill Clinton and he won twice.’”
Clinton calling half of Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables,”was not a one time mistake. She called Republicans "Deplorable all the time, the only mistake was letting how she normally talk, slip out.
“Hillary always broke down Trump supporters into three baskets,” Chozick writes.
“Basket #1: The Republicans who hated her and would vote Republican no matter who the nominee.
Basket #2: Voters whose jobs and livelihoods had disappeared, or as Hillary said, ‘who feel that the government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens in their lives and their futures.’
Basket #3: The Deplorables. This basket includes ‘the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic—you name it.’
We (Deplorables) Were Truly Despised and Laughed at by Hillary
The ultra-rich liberals living in the Hampton's, Martha’s Vineyard, Beverly Hills, and Silicon Valley. Always had a good laugh whenever they heard the expression “The Deplorables." Guess we can end that debate about what the Democrats, Hillary, and those La-La-Land Liberals truly thought about all those people living in the "Fly-Over' states.
After being told she lost to Trump, Hillary responded
‘I knew it. I knew this would happen to me….’ Hillary said, now within a couple of inches of his face. ‘They were never going to let me be president.’”
The New York Times and The Clintons had a rocky relationship. After Hillary lost, Bill Clinton started spreading some absurd conspiracy that the Times had struck a deal with Trump. As long as Trump kept driving traffic to the paper and boosting the company’s stock prices, the Times would then destroy Hillary on the emails to help Trump win the election.
