MSNBC Ali Velshi Claims He's An NRA Member, NRA Calls BS
Ali Velshi the MSNBC host is alleging a conspiracy because the NRA called him out on his lie that he is a member

But Velshi still maintains that:

“I'm a gun owner. Every year I receive a membership card from the NRA with a membership number. I've never asked for one. I've never paid for one, but I strongly suspect that I am counted in the secret records of the NRA as a member”

Maybe Ali should check to see if his name is on the card? Of course, if the NRA sent him some marketing material and the card said "Your Name Here" we could see how low IQ Ali could get confused.
Prove It Baldy
A few weeks back after MSNBC, CNN and the big three Fake News networks started bashing the NRA, Dana Loesch and NRA Members, we wrote this story: I Joined The NRA And I Don’t Even Own A Gun.

All Ali Velshi has to do to prove he's not BS'ing is exactly what I have done... Post a picture of his NRA membership card complete with his name imprinted on it.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) flat-out denies that it has ever counted MSNBC host Ali Velshi as a member.

Until we see some proof to the contrary, we will consider this NRA statement as fact. "Mr. Velshi is not and has not been a member of the National Rifle Association," the guns rights group's media relations manager Jason Brown told the Washington Free Beacon.

It is interesting to note that Velshi has not produce any sort of documentation or evidence to corroborate his claim. And this wouldn't be the first time that the Ali Velshi's version of reality didn't match the facts.
Velshi tweeted: “BREAKING: John Feeley, U.S. ambassador to Panama, has resigned in protest of Donald Trump’s ‘shithole’ comments.”

THE Truth: Feeley resigned a month earlier, and the White House had just announced his resignation, which prompted Velshi's tweet. So he didn't resign because of what Trump said because he had resigned a month before Trump said it, that is of course, if Trump actually said it.

Velshi also tweeted out this spectacularly wrong fake news gem:

BREAKING: students are in the waiting area of FL Gov. Rick Scott’s office - after being told he’s too busy to meet with them - chanting “shame on you!”

— Ali Velshi (@AliVelshi) February 21, 2018

The Truth: Governor Scott was at a funeral at the time Velshi was sending out his "breaking" news tweet. To make matters worse Scott was already scheduled to meet with the activists later that same day.

Judging by how MSNBC and Ali Velshi play fast and loose with facts, we are pretty much assured Velshi made up the whole "I'm an NRA member." We suspect his motive would have been so he can claim "Yes, I am bashing the NRA, but I have no bias because I am an NRA member too."

As Ali Velshi famously wrote “shame on you!”
