Pelosi Ditches Poorly Attended Trump Tax Protest

The Trump tax bill sure isn't stirring up the emotions of Americans. Considering the Fake News media claims only 26% of the people support the bill. A planned rally to protest the supposed tax give-a-way didn't pan out exactly as Nancy Pelosi had hoped.

While expecting hundreds of protesters, the rally was only able to attract a handful of folks who were really upset that Republican lawmakers were planning to lower taxes on American.

Gathering in a tiny conference room on Capitol Hill where House Minority Speaker Nancy Pelosi was slated to speak Monday they waited and waited and waited.

But the demonstration was so weak, MSNBC reports, Pelosi didn’t even bother to show up.

Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had been working overtime to convince Americans that they getting to keep more of their money is somehow a bad thing.

Last week, Pelosi described the Republican tax bill as an “Armageddon” that would lead to the “end of the world.”

Pelosi was immediately corrected at the press conference by Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, who framed the tax cuts as a “debt tax.”

“Look, I’m not going to say it’s the end of the world, and Nancy didn’t mean it’s the end of the world, but one ought not to diminish the consequences of passing this bill,” Hoyer said.

It’s unclear why, exactly, Pelosi decided to ditch Monday’s protest. So far no statement has been issued from the minority leaders office.

Despite the Democrat doom and gloom, America is seeing record highs in the stock market and record low unemployment.  According to the latest polls, Americans are realizing that the liberal agenda has nothing to do with what's good for America.  Rather Pelosi, Schumer, and the Democrats are running a Trump smear campaign designed around what's best for their liberal agenda.
