Just Another 'Woke' Liberal Democrat Resigns

John Skipper another 'Woke' Liberal Democrat who ruled over and ultimately ruined ESPN by denigrating people about how 'unwoken' they were, resigned as president of ESPN and co-chairman of the Disney Media Networks on Monday.
Skipper's Statement 
"Today I have resigned from my duties as President of ESPN," Skipper said in a statement. "I have had a wonderful career at the Walt Disney Company and am grateful for the many opportunities and friendships. I owe a debt to many, but most profoundly Michael Lynton, George Bodenheimer and Bob Iger.

 

"I have struggled for many years with a substance addiction. I have decided that the most important thing I can do right now is to take care of my problem.

 

"I have disclosed that decision to the company, and we mutually agreed that it was appropriate that I resign. I will always appreciate the human understanding and warmth that Bob displayed here and always.

 

"I come to this public disclosure with embarrassment, trepidation and a feeling of having let others I care about down.

"As I deal with this issue and what it means to me and my family, I ask for appropriate privacy and a little understanding.

 

"To my colleagues at ESPN, it has been a privilege. I take great pride in your accomplishments and have complete confidence in your collective ability to continue ESPN's success."
Reign of Stupidity 
Skipper, 61, joined ESPN in 1997 and was named to his current position on Jan. 1, 2012.  When he took the reigns the sports and entertainment network had 100.12 million subscribers, but under Skipper's alt-left, six-year tenure, it has lost nearly 13 million subscribers.

Skipper as most Loony Liberals have done in other companies, took over and let his employees talked less about what they were hired to do and more about pushing his and the Democrats liberal agenda.

Recently, ESPN had come under fire from the White House and conservatives for comments made by anchor Jemele Hill.  The SportsCenter host sent out a tweet in which she called President Trump a "white supremacist."

MSM Fake News
The news media ignored the story, so the President, as usual, went around them. Sending out his own tweet, Trump demanded an apology. The President blamed the network's politics and "bad programming" has led to people "dumping it in RECORD numbers." Judging by the numbers, President Trump was spot on with his assessment.

With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have "tanked," in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry!

Despite ESPN record of firing conservatives like Curt Schilling, or disciplining anyone working for ESPN if they said boo toward President Obama, or voiced rejection over any of a number of Liberal 'woke' issues.  When the Presidents tweet, brought national attention to Hill's comments, it forced Skipper and ESPN to react, and they did nothing.

Two weeks later, Hill attacked Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboy's owner. Hill upset about Jones's statement that any Dallas Cowboys player who "disrespects the flag" during the National Anthem will not play.

This time ESPN was quick to react suspending Hill for two weeks, without pay.

 

It is amazing how many times these ultra liberals who so easily lecture Americans on how they should act and feel, get exposed for the very same human frailties, they lambasted someone else for. ESPN will be far better off now that this liberal 'Woke' drug addict has resigned.

No matter who takes over ESPN, they couldn't do any worse.
