World of Wonder (WOW) has announced the development of a new scripted comedy feature, "Drag Queens on a Plane," with our queen RuPaul Charles and some of drag's finest set to star.

The film, aka "There are Too Many Drag Queens on this Mothertucking Plane," is produced by RuPaul and "RuPaul's Drag Race" producers Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato and Tom Campbell. Here's the official synopsis of the upcoming comedy:
From the producers of RuPaul’s Drag Race, RuPaul stars in the most glamorous disaster movie in herstory! On the maiden voyage of Glamazonian Airways, RuPaul has packed the flight with drag’s finest.  But some evil trolls who don’t believe in loving yourself are on board and will do their damnedest to bring the plane down.  Can drag’s greatest queens thwart the terrorist’s evil plan?
In addition to the development news, WOW announced some big updates for the international sister shows to "RuPaul's Drag Race." According to a press release from WoW, Thailand will soon debut its first season of "Drag Race Thailand," hosted by fashion stylist Art-Araya In-dra with judging from a fresh set of judges and talented drag queens. The show, which recently went into production, will air on LINE TV and is produced locally by Kantana Group.

The production company has also expanded its streaming library, with Chilean sister show "The Switch Drag Race" becoming available for the first time in the U.S. on WOW Presents Plus. The WOW streaming platform will also be offering "RuPaul's Drag Race" to fans in China (watch the trailer, in Mandarin, below) in an effort to provide more content for the platform's users. WOW Presents Plus is currently available in more than 85 countries, with more than half of its users subscribing from outside of the U.S.

Oh, and one more thing- RuPaul's DragCon is going global in 2019! *insert Trixie scream* Dragcon's branch-out into international territories is sure to draw some major crowds, as last year's DragCon drew in 80,000 attendees in LA and NYC. Preparations are already underway for LA's 2018 convention, which will run from May 11-13.

Catch RuPaul on the premiere of Season 3 of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars," which premieres Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. on VH1 with a 90 minute episode. Watch the trailer for Season 3 below.
