Another look at Lady Gaga's upcoming documentary "Gaga: Five Foot Two" is here, and it doesn't shy away from the more excruciating parts of fame and chronic pain. The musician, actor, and songwriter gives her audience an intimate, revealing chapter of her life without seeming trite or contrived. Check out the trailer below.

"Gaga: Five Foot Two" follows Lady Gaga for a year as she creates her latest album, "Joanne," and preps for the SuperBowl 51 halftime show. The year is not the easiest for the musician, as she struggles with ongoing health issues, heartbreak, and the isolation of fame. While Lady Gaga is not the first to make a biographical documentary (Katy Perry comes to mind), the film seems to be refreshingly disinterested in what critics might say about her. The most memorable moments of the trailer include Lady Gaga crying as she's injected with painkillers and a touching moment with her grandmother as Gaga plays a tribute she wrote to her late aunt Joanne.

Directed by Chris Moukarbel ("Banksy Does New York"), the film garnered respect from critics at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), at which "Gaga: Five Foot Two" was an official selection. THR hailed the film, noting editor Greg Arata's ("The Millionaire Tour") "graceful editing... to create a strong sense of story and continuity." Highsnobriety lauded the documentary's artistry and honest portrayal of Lady Gaga, when so many other pop star documentaries are hamfisted attempts at humanizing their subject. Moukarbel has presented the world with a "portrait of a woman rather than one of a celebrity... it's all the better for it."
