Two New Posters Drop for 'The Snowman' Ahead of Its Trailer Premiere

Universal Pictures just released two new posters for Tomas Alfredson's "The Snowman" with Michael Fassbender.
With a trailer said to be dropping on Wednesday, July 19, this highly anticipated film from the director of "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy," could have all the goods for a successful awards season run.
Written by Hossein Amini ("Drive"), the film tells the story of Detective Harry Hole (Fassbender) who investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman.
The film also stars Rebecca Ferguson ("The Girl on the Train"), Val Kilmer ("Tombstone"), J.K. Simmons ("Whiplash"), Charlotte Gainsbourg ("Antichrist"), James D'Arcy ("Spotlight"), and Chloe Sevingly ("Boys Don't Cry").
"The Snowman" is distributed by Universal Pictures and is scheduled to hit theaters on Oct. 20.
