Less than a week of commemorations of the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings, the official program becomes more precise.
Between the agenda of the various heads of state, citizen commemorations, and traffic restrictions, here is what to remember.
Macron in the UK on June 5th. Emmanuel Macron will begin his tour of two days of commemorations on Wednesday, June 5, across the Channel. He will attend an international ceremony at the end of the morning and lunch with other heads of state or government, including Angela Merkel and the Queen of England, in Portsmouth.
He will then return to France in the afternoon, to attend at 6 pm a ceremony of homage to the Norman Resistance, Caen prison. 83 men were shot there by the occupier on December 15, 1941....
