Wikileaks: Sweden relaunches lawsuit against Julian Assange
Julian Assange's lawyer assured that his client was ready to cooperate with the Swedish justice but that he wanted to avoid extradition at any cost in the United States.
"Today I decided to reopen the investigation"; by her Deputy Attorney General, Eva-Marie Persson, Sweden announced Monday the reopening of the rape investigation against the founder of WikiLeaks. "Julian Assange is incarcerated in Britain, the conditions are met to request surrender to Sweden under a European arrest warrant," said Eva-Marie Persson. The 47-year-old Australian was sentenced earlier this month to nearly a year in jail by British justice for violating his parole terms when he fled to the Ecuadorian Embassy in 2012. The prosecution should issue a European arrest warrant as soon as possible against Julian Assange..........
