Vietnam denounced for its human rights abuses

A report by Amnesty International, published on Monday, May 13, underlines that incarceration for crimes of opinion in Vietnam has increased by 30% in one year, 97 people were deprived of their liberty for this reason in 2018 while the NGOs already count 128 in 2019. "The Vietnamese authorities are passing people exercising their human rights for criminals," said the report of the organization for the defense of human rights. The conditions of detention of these prisoners are also obscure. They often end up in unhealthy jails without access to clean water and medical care.
