The 2021 Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals was the fourteenth edition of the PDC darts tournament, and it included the top 64 players from the 2021 Players Championship tournaments. The event was hosted at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead from November 26–28, 2021, following being held behind closed doors at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry in 2020.
After defeating Mervyn King 11–10 in the 2020 final, Michael van Gerwen was the two-time defending champion, but he was eliminated in the quarter-finals by Peter Wright. Van Gerwen failed to reach the final for the first time since 2014.

2021 Players Championship Final Event 2 Darts Winner And Score 

Peter Wright extended his incredible start to 2022 by winning the Players Championship 2 in Barnsley, defeating Gerwyn Price in the final.
Three days after winning the Premier League's opening night, the World Champion won his first ProTour title with an 8-5 victory over Price.
Wright advanced to the Players Championship 1 semi-finals on Saturday and went on to win his 43rd PDC trophy.
Had Price not advanced through the quarter-finals, Wright would have moved into the world number one slot for the first time.

Players Darts Championship 2022 Prize Money Pool Distribution

The Players Championship season will consist of 30 tournaments in 2022 and the PDC has made £3m available for this with 100,000 pounds distributed at every tournament this year, an increase of £25,000 from 2021.
