Road Report - State and Schrock

Sidewalks and brick are the order of the day at State and Schrock as the contractor prepares for laying down the final layers of asphalt on the project.

Driving surface on all sections of the project will begin Thursday night when older asphalt on West Schrock is milled down to remove the uneven and older surface.

All the work will be done at night to keep more lanes open during the day.

However, bricklayers may close off lanes where they add bricks as part of the landscaping project around trees and flower beds.

The asphalt portion is expected to be completed in about two weeks, depending upon weather.
