What a year of 2021! 40 articles #JornalTribunaDeMacau! Of which 18 are cross-paged feuilletons of #VisualAnthropology! In-depth film critiques, art and music reviews, plus essays on family history, language, social-cultural issues, appeals for cultural preservation, but most notably: “#MACAU” was mentioned 200 times. Luckily, among all of my articles that I would rewrite them completely, I have at least one essay that I really love: “A Portuguese #Hepburn in Macau”… These feuilletons and comments are made presentable mostly thanks to the warmhearted generosity of Jorge Veiga Alves, Maria João Caetano, Francisco Soares de Oliveira, Maria João Almeida and some other Portuguese-speaking friends who have been offering tremendously kind help to improve my writing in these strange times. Some of these articles have been translated into Chinese, English, French and German. This year I’ll be, to paraphrase #BREL: more observant, more “voyeur”, and most importantly, open for suggestions from readers. Looking forward to interacting with you!
