Chelsea's official foundation trustees are made up of six people, including club chairman Bruce Buck and Emma Hayes, the extremely successful manager of Chelsea's women's squad. The complete list of Chelsea foundation trustees is as follows:
- Bruce Buck, Chelsea Chairman Since 2004

- John Devine, Partner at sports legal firm Muckle LLP

- Emma Hayes, Chelsea Women Manager

- Piara Power, Chairman of anti-discrimination network FARE

- Paul Ramos, Chelsea Finance Director

- Sir Hugh Robertson, Former Sports Minister and Lifelong Chelsea Fan
Sir Hugh Robertson is a lifelong Chelsea fan who became a trustee back in 2016. He has been previously been the minister for the Olympics. Meanwhile, Buck is the current Chairman of the Club and the Charitable Foundation's Executive Director.

Responsibilities of Charitable Foundation Trustees

According to reports, Abramovich will no longer be involved in day-to-day club operations. On the other hand, all long-term strategic decision-making responsibilities would be transferred to the Chelsea Foundation.
When it comes to transfers, executive director Marina Granovskaia, technical advisor Petr Cech, and head coach Thomas Tuchel will stick to the club's budgets. The former two will be in charge of football decisions, contracts, and the future of head coach Thomas Tuchel.

Labour MPs have said this week that Abramovich, who was born in Russia, should not be permitted to buy Chelsea because of his suspected ties to Vladimir Putin’s regime. Chris Bryant, a Labour MP, said in the House of Commons that the Roman Abramovich’s assets should be taken.
The club also 'insists that Abramovich's decision to stand back was not done in an attempt to avoid punishment, but rather to defend the club at a time when it was in risk of losing its reputation and strategic importance.
