BCCI to lay a brand new NCA academy building in Bangalore spread over 16,000 Sq Ft Gym, 40 pitches, 243 rooms, know about the facility and its location
Seeing development as a holistic process BCCI has finally decided to lay a foundation considering total development of present and future of cricket stars over a land of 40 acres leased to the BCCI by the KIADB.

The BCCI has confirmed 40 acres land on a 99 years lease from the KIADB for a amount of INR 50 Cr after many things happening along the sides from years. From 2000, NCA has been running from the premises of the M. Chinnaswami Stadium that is located in the Bengaluru. The stadium is basically owned by the Karnataka Cricket Association which has also provided BCCI its Ground B for outdoor practice along with indoor practice facilities and gymnasium.
Inside the 16,000 square feet, NCA has divided it into 5 phases, broadcasting and floodlight facilities for all practice grounds and extension of facilities in practice grounds will come up in Zone-I. Whereas in Zone II, floodlights for 20 pitches along with two tennis court will be constructed. Coming to Zone III a small temperature-controlled indoor pool will be constructed.
In the last two Phases namely Zone IV and Zone V one-IV will see extension of the residential block, comprising 70 single occupancy rooms, 120 double occupancy rooms, 25 quad sharing dormitories, and recreational facilities. Indoor training facility, consisting of futsal, squash, badminton, basketball courts, and office spaces will be part of Zone-V of the ambitious project. And in the final phase of the project, a creche, open air theatre, pharmacy, salon, cycling track, ice cream and juice parlors, bank, tucks shops etc. will be built.

Bid Ceiling Price And Time Taken To Built



The total Bid Ceilng price has been kept for around INR 150 Cr, 70% scores are allocated to technical aspects and 30% to Financial aspects, and relevant experience would be seen of the contractor before handing him the contract. It has now been assumed that more than a period of one year would be taken to build this World Class NCA.
