GOP To Make Democrats Trump Impeachment An Issue In Midterms
Influential figures like Trump’s first campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and former deputy campaign manager David Bossie want to make the midterm elections a referendum on his performance — and on the Democrats wanting to impeach President Trump.
Democratic enthusiasm in the elections is likely to be sky-high, given the Trump Derangement Syndrome sickness infecting the liberals. The best way to counteract the Democrats who are sure to show up and vote this November is to make the stakes high enough to draw hordes of conservative voters to the polls.
If those voters believe Democrats want to throw Trump out of office — the Republicans will rally to Trump's side.
Lewandowski and Bossie traveled with Trump to Michigan for a rally on Saturday evening. Lewandowski declared that Michigan was “Trump country.”
Trump paid tribute to Lewandowski’s strategic abilities from the stage — “he only ran one campaign and he won. So he’s one for one” — before going on to make a version of the argument that his former campaign manager and others are said to be urging on him.
“We have to keep the House because if we listen to Maxine Waters, she’s going around saying ‘We will impeach him,’ ” Trump said, referring to the California Democratic congressman who has frequently promised to try to remove him from office.
Judging by Mad Maxine's comments this past weekend, despite Nancy Pelosi saying the Democrats aren't talking Trump impeachment, Waters proves that Pelosi is full of it.
The Democrats have nothing to run on that Trump hasn't proven them wrong time and time again. Trump lowered taxes and the economy has continued to boom and the Trump Tax Reform is just starting to take effect, so 2018 looks like to be another economic boom year.
Trump's tough talk had Democrats claiming that Trump has us on the brink of World War III. Instead, South Korean President Moon-li said President Trump's tough talk has brought North Korea to the peace table.
When President Trump meets Kim Jong-Un in July if he can negotiate an agreement that has North Korea giving up their nukes, that will wrap up President Trump's Nobel Peace Prize.
The Democrats will try to run on DACA, but since the Democrats already rejected a Trump offer that would have protected twice as many people as they asked, this is a very hollow argument.
The Democrats tried to push their "Better Deal" which turned out to be nothing more than a publicity stunt since when asked, they could offer no actual policies. Their "Better Deal" now shows it to be nothing but a money grab giveaway. Higher Taxes and more freebies for illegal immigrants.
2018 is going to be a referendum on the president, and of course, the biggest issue will be the impeachment of President Trump for no other reason that he is "Making America Great Again."
