Cathy Newman Admits She Bungling Her Jordan Peterson Interview
Back in January, Britain's Channel 4 News host Cathy Newman invited the University of Toronto professor of physiology on her show to discuss topics ranging from gender politics to free speech.

Newman's so completely butchered the interview it made the intellectually one sided debate to go viral. Its views quickly skyrocketing in a ​rare instance of the "intellectual dark web" breaking through the mainstream. Since Channel 4 has released the complete 30-minute interview (Below) it has been viewed more than 8 million times.

Newman even admitted​ to The Guardian that her January interview with Dr. Jordan B. Peterson didn't go so well for her. "Probably not... my finest interview" she said about her viral debate with Peterson.

Since the debate aired earlier this year, Peterson fans have, rightly so, called Newman out, accusing her of blatantly and crudely "straw-manning" Dr. Peterson in an attempt to embarrass him.

Intellectually Inept
I find it incredible that any host, facing the daunting task of interviewing perhaps one of our generations greatest intellectual thinkers could go into that interview so ill-equipped, and so blatant in their attempt to disparage Professor Peterson.

Even more incredulous is the fact that Newman was the one that reached out to Peterson to secure the interview about his new bestseller 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos. So her attempted dishonesty was not only sophomoric but premeditated as well.

Clearly, she let her bias overtake her reasoning, and tried desperately to maneuver  Peterson into one of many "Gotcha" moments. Of Course, Dr. Peterson would not be so easily manipulated and on numerous occasions, stepped in and corrected the record each time Newman tried to twist his words.

On several occasions, Newman unabashedly lied about what Dr. Peterson had said. Dr. Peterson could only laugh at Newman's pathetic attempts. He is well aware of the Liberal game of trying to entrap him into a statement he neither said, nor meant, so Peterson was quick to correct her attempted misrepresentation.
Newman's low-lights

Using what can only be described as accusingly, Newman demanded to know why a majority of those viewing Peterson's YouTube channel were men. When Peterson answered  'We'll I assume a major reason is the fact that YouTube viewers are mainly men.' Newman demanded to know why as if Dr. Peterson had any control over the makeup of YouTube or his own channels viewers?
Newman also spent the better part of the interview trying to bait Peterson into disparaging women over the so-called 'pay gap." Over the last two-years, the gender pay gap has been debunked on numerous occasions, by numerous studies. One of the reasons for the so-called pay gap is the fact that women have other goals in life. Unlike men whose main goal in life is to rise up the corporate ladder, women have much more diverse goals. Some of which include getting married, starting a family and buying a home. These causes gaps in their work history that causes lower pay when they re-enter the workforce later in life.

​It is one thing to be a ditsy blond trying to go toe to toe with Professor Peterson. Those interviews are similar to watching a one-legged man competing in an ass-kicking contest. Those train wreck interviews are almost hilarious in nature, but when a serious news host is so willing to lie in order to achieve her goals, that can be dangerous for society as a whole.

Newman's interview is a microcosm of what is wrong with the world in general. You can talk all day, but if the liberal left is unwilling to actually listen to what you have to say, then having any meaningful dialogue is simply an exercise in futility.
