Rep. Trey Gowdy Just Did Something Insane
In a letter (Below) sent to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, The House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform committees chairmen. Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) and Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) demanded the Justice Department make FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI lawyer Lisa Page and FBI chief of staff Jim Rybicki, available for “transcribed interviews.”

The investigation is looking into the FBI and the Department of Justice's handling of two investigations. The probe into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server. And the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The Republican lawmakers have grown frustrated the past few months. The Congressmen complained about an unwillingness by the FBI to share details about its handling of both investigations. The letter to Sessions and Rosenstein could be a possible precursor to a subpoena.

What was so striking about the committee's letter was not who they wanted, but who they didn't... Peter Strzok? Why would the agent who seemed to have his hands into every major investigation in the past 2 years, not be included on their list?

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) told Fox News that Peter Strzok’s anti-Trump text messages show an “unprecedented” level of bias. Telling FOX “you rarely see” from FBI officials. The lawmaker made it clear, Strzok, the disgraced FBI agent is in his crosshairs.
So what changed?
