Amazon Studios Orders Jordan Peele Series 'The Hunt'

Jordan Peele is taking a new show to Amazon.

Amazon Studios announced that they have ordered ten episodes of "The Hunt," in a direct-to-series deal.

The series is:


"'The Hunt' follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the US. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans. "


David Weil created the series. It is an original idea inspired by real-life events. Weil will also write the series and serve as Executive Producer. He is also developing the series "Moonfall."

Peele's Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment are producing the series. Tom Lesinski and Jenna Santoianni will also serve as executive producers from Sonar, with Win Rosenfeld working on behalf of Monkeypaw.

A global exclusive, "The Hunt" will premiere in over 200 countries and territories on Prime Video.
