DGA Announces Presenters for 70th Annual DGA Awards

The Director's Guild of America will present its 70th DGA Awards this Saturday at a ceremony in Los Angeles.

The nominees were previously announced in all categories. Today, the guild announced the presenters for the weekend's ceremony:

This year's Honorary Life Member Award will be presented to Past President Michael Apted "in recognition of leadership in the industry, contribution to the Guild, and the profession of directing, and outstanding career achievement."

Special Service Awards:

Dwight Williams will receive the 2018 Frank Capra Achievement Award in recognition of career achievement in the industry and service to the Guild.

Jim Tanker will receive the 2018 Franklin J. Schaffner Achievement Award in recognition of career achievement in the industry and service to the Directors Guild of America.
The 70th Annual DGA Awards will be presented on Saturday, February 3 in Los Angeles.
