WATCH: Eugenio Derbez, Anna Faris Make a Splash in the New 'Overboard' Trailer

An iconic romantic comedy is getting a reboot with a new twist. MGM, Pantelion Films and 3 PAS Studios just released a teaser trailer for a reboot of "Overboard," starring Eugenio Derbez ("How to Be a Latin Lover"), Anna Faris ("Mom"), Eva Longoria ("Telenovela") and John Hannah ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."). This time around, Leonardo (Derbez) is the rich playboy in distress after a head injury gives him with amnesia, leaving himself open to some lighthearted comeuppance from disgruntled former employee Kate (Faris).

The spoiled playboy who "never worked a day in his life" soon discovers the struggles of daily life without an overflowing bank account and a fancy yacht. While Leonardo soon learns how to fit in with his new "family," his real billionaire family is still hot on the hunt for their missing member and his memory could return any minute. Will he stay or go when he remembers the truth?

The upcoming film gender-bends the original roles of a spoiled socialite taken in by a hardworking single dad, who were played by Goldie Hawn ("Snatched") and Kurt Russell ("Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2") in the first "Overboard."

Rob Greenberg ("How I Met Your Mother") directs off a screenplay from Bob Fisher ("We're the Millers"), Greenberg and original "Overboard" writer Leslie Dixon ("Limitless"). Derbez, Fisher and Benjamin Odell ("How to Be a Latin lover") produce, with Brendan Ferguson ("Big Eyes") executive producing.
