60th Grammy Awards Nominees Announced, Jay-Z Leads

On Tuesday morning, the Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 60th Grammy Awards.

Singer/songwriter/producer Jay-Z leads with eight nominations. Jay-Z has 21 Grammy Awards to his name, and will likely be adding more to his collection. Other top contenders include Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino, Khalid, NO I.D., and SZA.

In the Music for Visual Media category, some familiar Oscar nominees made the cut, including "City of Stars" from "La La Land," and "How Far I'll Go," from "Moana."
