Peditus is a medicine used in the treatment of symptoms such as cough, fever, joint pain, headache, and nasal congestion caused by upper respiratory diseases such as syrup, flu, flu. Peditus syrup is often prescribed by doctors to babies and children. The price of Peditus syrup is 4.70 TL.
Each metric peditus (5 ml) contains 125 mg paracetamol, 50 mg guaifenesin, 6.25 mg prilamine aleate, 5 mg phenylephrine hydrochloride. Thanks to its antihistamine properties, the prilamine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride substance in the pitus relieves allergic symptoms. The active substance of phenylephrine HCl, on the other hand, functions as decongestant, that is, to open the nasal congestion. Peditus syrup also removes sputum with the content of Guaifenes.
Peditus can be prescribed by the doctor for any of the following conditions:
High fever, irritation in the throat and cough caused by flu, upper respiratory diseases such as flu
Flu, nasal congestion in flu infections
To soften and reconstitute bronchial secretions
Treatment of all kinds of pain such as colds, flu, headache, muscle pain, joint pain accompanied by colds.
People with severe liver and kidney failure, children under 4 years of age, those with coronary artery disease, patients with impaired liver and kidney function, high blood pressure and tachycardia should never use this drug without asking the doctor.
Peditus should not be used during pregnancy and lactation without consulting a doctor.
Peditus syrup usage dose;
Up to 3 years old: half a scale (2.5 ml) 3 times a day.
3-6 years: 1 scale (5 ml) 3 times a day.
Above 6 years old: every four hours, 1 scale (5 ml).
Adults
2 scales (10 ml) every 4 hours a day.
It should not be used in children and adults with fever higher than 39.5 C, which lasts more than 3 days.
It should not be used for more than 5 days unless otherwise recommended by the doctor.

Nevertheless, since sedative effect will be exacerbated, alcohol should not be taken together and the doses of sedatives and hypnotics used together should be reduced.
