Iraq sentences nine French ISIS to death in one week

Two French men were sentenced to death Sunday in Iraq, after the rejection of allegations of torture issued by one of them, bringing to nine the number of French jihadists who received capital punishment in a week of trial that is debated.
Fodil Tahar Aouidate, 32, and Vianney Ouraghi, 28, were convicted of belonging to the Islamic State (IS) group, which carries the death penalty in Iraq whether or not the defender fought.
