New elections in sight in Israel

New elections will be convened in Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu failed, after the deadline, to form a coalition government after the legislative elections in April. Until midnight, the parliamentary session was tense and MPs finally voted to dissolve the Knesset and hold new elections.
This is a setback for the Israeli prime minister, but less difficult than the one that would have seen another politician recover the burden of forming a government.......
