Coalition confirms start of US withdrawal from Syria

The coalition convened to fight against the Islamic State group under the command of the United States has "initiated the process" of withdrawal from Syria and will not detail the terms, said Friday a spokesman.

The coalition has "begun the process of our voluntary withdrawal from Syria.For reasons of operational security, we will not detail the timing, location or movement of troops," said Colonel Sean Ryan.
