Biome Grow Inc. Completes First Cannabis Shipment To Nova Scotia
The lack of marijuana supply in Nova Scotia is easing up slightly thanks to a newly completed first shipment from Biome Grow Inc. (CSE: BIO; Frankfurt: 6OTA; OTCQB: BIOIF).

All cannabis sales are handled through the provincial government via the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, which just completed its first purchase order and received the subsequent shipment from Biome Grow.

This initial product shipment was handled through Biome Grow’s subsidiary Highland Grow and includes three different genetic varieties of marijuana. An additional shipment is expected to be sent by the end of the month as Biome gauges local interest in each strain.

Highland Grow currently operates a 6,500 sq. ft. cultivation facility located on 19 acres of farm in Antigonish.

Highland Grow President Frank MacMaster issued this statement to investors and end consumers:

Biome entered the marijuana market in 2017, and managed to land a listing on the OTCQB earlier this month. The company received an amended sales authorization from Health Canada last month, which made the initial shipment to the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation possible.

In addition to Highland Grow in Nova Scotia, Biome Grow Inc. operates within the cannabis sector through four other subsidiaries:

The Back Home Medical Cannabis Corporation in Newfoundland and Labrador, which has applied for a recreational sales license through the Cannabis Act.
Great Lakes Cannabis in Ontario, which has applied for a medical license through the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations.
Weed Virtual Retail Inc. also in Ontario but focused VR technology applications.
Red Sands Craft Cannabis Co. in Prince Edward Island.

While awaiting final licensing, The Back Home Medical Cannabis Corporation has additionally signed a 3-year, 24,000 kg supply agreement with the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
