'Bright Lights' from Scotland's Jordan Murray is a marvellous single

Jordan Murray's 'Bright Lights' is one of those songs that just puts you in the right frame of mind.
Jordan's musical journey started back in 2013 when he released his debut EP 'I'm Free'. At that time, he moved from his hometown in Dumfries and Galloway up to Edinburgh to further pursue his music goals. The songs from that EP were written about the big move and all of the changes in his life at the time.
Whilst living in Edinburgh and building up a busy gigging schedule, he recorded his second acoustic EP 'All Things Blue' at a small independent studio. This brought him some attention which resulted in a trip to America in 2015 where he recorded his third EP 'Pages'. After coming home he continued to be increasingly busy, gigging and performing shows most nights. His writing took a backseat as he enjoyed life playing music and building up a fan-base. However, in March 2020, the whole world was forced to stay home and slow down. Gigs were cancelled and work was stopped. Seeing the opportunity this presented, Jordan decided to get working in the studio and began writing and recording again properly for the first time in 5 years.
With a renewed vigour for the music game after a break to reflect, reinvent, you can hear the refreshed music from Jordan. His vocals are so solid and you can feel the pain in his voice as he reaches incredible high note plentiful. The appeal of this artist is so easy to see. A likeable role model who's music is just getting going.
