Arizona band Café Society fly in strong with 'Daylight Storm'

Café Society stride in with the catchy sax and drums-infused new release called 'Daylight Storm'.
Café Society are from Phoenix in Arizona as The Convertibles in late 1981, formed by Chicago born and raised musician, singer and songwriter Richard Morris. Originally a power-punk trio, the band featured Morris on guitar and vocals, Burton Korer on bass and Monique Bera on drums. Inspired by local Phoenix bands The Jetzons and Meat Puppets, they played about a dozen live gigs and recorded a seven-song demo at Camelback Studios in 1982.
After not playing together since 1987, in 2019, Morris re-formed the band in the Netherlands with bassist Andrey Zakharov and drummer Christian Palmieri who revived the original 80s-esque style of Café Society by releasing the band's first single, 'Daylight Storm', in August 2020. Café Society’s debut album, “1982,” will be recorded at the legendary Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum (Netherlands) and released in 2022, the band's 40th anniversary. This band have reformed and the vibe is alight, the musicianship is high of standard and the energy is peaceful. In a year with so much hate, this is a fantastic listen that heals.
