The first pensive guitar note sets the tone for the deeply sobering Hip Hop mix “Lose it All” from TELESCA. Yet, rather than creating a one-dimensional track, TELESCA. offered a smorgasbord of connectable emotion.
There may be plenty of ‘emo’ Rap on the airwaves, but Rap which hits hard and carries a sentiment which instantaneously resonates? That isn’t all too easy to come by. And that’s just one of the reasons why we’re stoked to hear a track like Lose it All.
The up and coming artist’s ingenuity was put to good use in both the lyrics and the soundscape. There’s plenty of atmospherics to be found in the dark energetic track which stays with you for long after the track has faded out.
It’s raw, it’s honest, it’s gritty, and more importantly, it carries humility which amplifies the bruising impact of the candid lyrics. TELESCA. is exactly the kind of artist we all need on our playlists right now.
