Paul Jordan – Neighbourhood: Cinematically Captivating Electronica

Neighbourhood is the latest creeping concordant composition by Electronica artist Paul Jordan. I’m not sure if it was quite the up and coming artists intention to put me on edge during his Experimental, Ambient mix. However, it definitely wouldn’t be out of place in a David Lynch film. The instrumental only beat used phatasmically endearing spatial effect to ensure that the sound would stay with you long after it had faded out – the space in between the sounds resonate as much as the echoing, melodic synthesised sounds which are complimented by captivating samples and effects.

Whilst Neighbourhood isn’t exactly the track you would kick back and relax to; as a producer and composer Paul Jordan proved his deft talent when it comes to digital command. His cinematic style will without question see him go far commercially.

You can check out Paul Jordan’s latest single Neighbourhood which was released July 2018 on SoundCloud now. Although I’d probably do it with the lights on – the walk-through music to Resident Evil terrified me significantly less than Neighbourhood.
