Otherwife – Talking Not Touching: Magnetically Moulded Female Fronted Pop Rock

Otherwife released their latest single Talking Not Touching on May 28th, 2018. I wish I could tell you what genre they fall into, but whatever box you try to fit them in their prodigal sounds just spill right out again.

Is it country? Pop? Soft Rock? Who knows and quite frankly, who cares when the soundscape this awesome?! The female vocalist’s raw ethereal style is instantly captivating; her breathy vocal approach gets mixed up through the progressive glitchy Pop Rock guitar sound which means by the time the track this track concludes the momentum behind it is beyond what you could have ever imagined in the prelude.

With an anthemically catchy track such Talking Not Touching as a first ever track it’s hard to see how Otherwife could go wrong. They may be a band in their inception, yet their stylised popish sound is polished enough to have you believing otherwise.
