SLEEPWAR – Wandered & Washed: Rhythmically Punchy Synth Pop Rock
You’d be hard pressed to find a more ambiently styled Indie Rock Pop hit than SLEEPWAR’S latest track Wandered & Washed. It’s anthemic yet muffled sound has an ethereally uplifting edge and an all-round resounding cacophonic effect. With their latest release the powerhouse of talent SLEEPWAR created an instrumentally synergetic melody, with all the hookish breakdowns that you’d expect from any self-respecting Pop track. In short, Wandered & Washed is a tsunami of electronically charged aural alchemy.

The Arizona based collective did more than assimilate old sounds, they fused together Indie Rock with a Synth Pop influence to create a sound I can honestly say I’ve never heard the like of before. The prowess of the rhythmically punchy guitar driven sound is amplified by the swathes of Electronica which has been riddled into the mix. SLEEPWAR’s vocalist Roger Willis has a soaring voice that oozes pure charisma as he embraces the romantic pensive allure of the lyrics to their latest track Wandered & Washed which was part of SLEEPWAR’s latest EP ‘When We Were’ released on January 26th, 2018.
