In a recent tweet by Justin Sun, Co-founder, and CEO of TRON network, he expressed his opinion about the Venezuelan Cryptocurrency Petro and calls on Nicolas Maduro to link it on a faster network like TRON and not on “Ethereum if he really cares about his people”.

Justin Sun’s tweet comes after Maduro’s tweet announcing the adoption of the ‘Sovereign Bolivar’ on the President’s Twitter account. Maduro had stated that the government will achieve stability with economic and macroeconomic balances for the good of all Venezuelans.
This is not the first time that Justin Sun has spoken against Ethereum, he has repeatedly stated that “the Tron network is much faster than Ethereum’s.” According to him, TRX has a significantly higher transaction speed on the network, referring to figures such as 2000 transactions per second in the Tron network compared to 25 transactions on the Ethereum one.
Petro has been garnering a lot of attention over the past few weeks with its introduction into the Venezuelan financial stream. Petro came into the picture for the first time in December 2017 when the Venezuelan government released its whitepaper on it. To build the value of the cryptocurrency, the government had allocated 5 billion barrels of oil to it.
