Sorry Flat Earthers! Google Maps now depicts our planet as a GLOBE

It’s been confirmed for tons of of years, but many conspiracy theorists stay unconvinced that our planet is spherical.

Nonetheless, Flat Earthers shall be sad to listen to that tech-giant, Google , has thrown its assist behind the round-Earth concept.

Google has launched an replace to Google Maps , which reveals the Earth as a globe while you zoom out.

Google introduced the replace on Twitter.

It wrote: “With 3D Globe Mode on Google Maps desktop, Greenland's projection is now not the scale of Africa.

“Simply zoom all the way in which out at http://google.com/maps.”

Till now, Google Maps has use Mercator projection, which tasks our planet as a flat floor, within the hopes of constructing it simpler to see roads.
