ModMyPi LTD | Arcade USB Encoder Wiring Information

So you have simply obtained your Zero Delay Arcade USB Encoder and its time to wire it up!

Begin by getting the USB Encoder PCB board and be aware of the connections.

We're going to wire up the Joystick first, so seize that and the ribbon cable.

Plug one finish of the ribbon cable into the joystick port, then plug the opposite finish onto the 5 pins on the joystick. Be certain that to get the orientation appropriate, which is white aspect of the ribbon going through up, in the direction of the crimson ball on the joystick

As soon as we have that sorted, we will begin to plug within the button wires. Lets begin with the pre-defined buttons. For these we're going to use the blue and white wires.

Then use the white and white wires for the 12 consumer outlined buttons

You may then plug your buttons into these wires. Merely push the feminine spades connects on the wire, over the male spade connector on the button. Be sure to push down on the button while inserting the spade connector, this can be sure you do not accidently deseat the connector.

With all of the buttons and joystick wired up, its now only a case of plugging the USB cable
