Russell Simmons' All Def Comedy

We know there's drama , but we WILL ALWAYS associate All Def Comedy with Russell Simmons. With that said, TSF is proud to announce RUSSELL SIMMONS' "All Def Comedy" is now available on HBO and it's SO FUNNY! Consider it a spiritual successor to the legendary Def Jam Comedy show, which helped to launch the careers of almost of of today's greats. Likewise, this new show features established comics and promote up-and-coming talent. Industry insiders all agree this show is the truth. It's hard to make comics laugh, but we've seen backstage video of comics crying! We're talking real tears!

Previous incarnations of Def Comedy were a mash-up of questionable comics and re-treads, but this right here, THIS IS THE TRUTH!  The show is well produced and features the same energy of the original Def Jam, it's SO FUNNY! (shameless plug) If you love comedy appreciate the real-raw ish, this is for you.
The six-show series will feature TheySoFunny.com favorites like Deon Cole (Blackish), DeRay Davis (Barbershop: The Next Cut), Gary Owen (Ride Along) and others. All Def Comedy also boasts several new performers: Alex Babbitt, Tony Baker, Sydney Castillo, Henry Coleman (pictured above), D’Lai, Ryan Davis, Kareem Green, Just Nesh, Leonard Ouzts, Teddy Ray, Daphnique Springs, Clayton Thomas and many more. The new show features the hilarious Tony Rock as host with DJ, who quite frankly is one of the most underrated comics of our time. DJ Mustard is on the 1s and 2s, while noone can compare to Kid Capri, he paves a lane of his own throughout the series.
The Def Comedy Jam 25th anniversary special created new cravings for comedy, so this is well-timed. HBO and RUSSELL SIMMONS have created six episodes of straight fire from heavy-hitters of comedy, and home runs from new faces like Daphnique and Just Nesh. Feels like 1992! Comedy is buzzing and once again we have RUSSELL SIMMONS to thank. Don't miss this show! It's on HBO so pay your cable bill or call a friend who doesn't mind free-loaders! You don't want to miss the rebirth of raw comedy on television, tune in every friday, starting tonight (12/1). Click here for showtimes.
