We were very happy to learn of Lavell's new focus on health and happiness, which he attributes to exercise, a healthier diet and fishing. During our chat Lavell shared several tips for young comics looking to take their craft to the next level.

Lavell explains what it takes for a young comic to prepare him/herself for a long and successful career in the field of comedy. He credits originality, discipline and practice, practice, practice. Lavell believes a young comic should be the world's best-kept secret until he/she is ready to really bring the funny.
