After months of leaks and reports, Motorola finally presented the new RAZR at an event in Los Angeles. This is a revival of the company's original RAZR, a small, modern phone that shook the world when it came out in 2004. The new RAZR takes advantage of its predecessor's legendary status and uses many of the same design cues and combinations. them with the latest smartphone technologies. For this reason, it has been one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2019.

The biggest feature of the new RAZR is, without a doubt, the 6.2-inch foldable plastic OLED screen that adorns the inside of its cover. The screen replaces the T9 numeric keypad and the LCD screen found in the previous RAZR, and as such, the aspect ratio is 21: 9. The screen itself is quite decent, with a resolution of 2142 x 876, however , it seems that Motorola had to compromise the quality of the screen folding function. Just below the screen is a fairly large chin, similar to the previous RAZR, which contains a fingerprint sensor / button to open the cover. There is a considerable bezel that surrounds the screen with a notch on the top that holds a speaker and a proximity sensor.

The outside of the phone is as exciting as the inside. On the front, there is a 16 MP main camera, along with a second 2.7-inch OLED screen for taking selfies or quick interactions. The back of the device is covered in a sticky material with the Motorola logo in the center and the name RAZR stamped below. The hinge is between these two outer panels, which allows the phone to fold in a small form factor. Motorola has spent a lot of time on the hinge mechanism, making sure that your phone does not have the same wrinkle problems as other folding phones such as Samsung's Galaxy Fold.

Overall, it seems that Motorola has built a great smartphone. By leveraging its previous popularity and its cutting-edge modern design, it has produced a very desirable piece of mobile hardware. According to professional opinions, the fit and finish in the RAZR is also excellent. As with anything of this level of quality and ingenuity, not to mention the nostalgic feelings associated with the design, the new RAZR will be priced at $ 1500 when it becomes available next month.
