The MediaBrief-Rewind Musical break brings you a romantic Kishore Kumar-Lata Mangeshkar duet Tere chehre se nazaar nahin hat-ti from Yash Chopra's romance drama Kabhi Kabhie, released in year 1976.

The song is in remembrance of composer Khaiyyam, whom we lost very recently.

After this first collaboration with Yash Chopra, Khaiyyam went on to give music for some more Yash Chopra produced and directed films like Noorie, Nakhuda and  the 1978 hit Trishul. Sahir Ludhianvi was a regular lyricist for Yash Chopra films until his passing away in 1980. This audio excerpt is from Radio Nasha's show which features Team Rewind.
