Healthy seasonal dishes fit for family and friends
As the nights draw in you want comforting food that still ticks all the right boxes for health, simplicity, and of course, deliciousness. Luckily autumn provides a bounty of wonderful ingredients which makes this the best time to let loose in the kitchen.
The third in Cook Folk’s Seasonal Entertaining Workshops series for 2019, the autumn session will showcase the amazing new seasonal produce on offer, all whilst building your kitchen confidence and unleashing your creativity.
Under the guidance of Cook Folk founder, Louisa Chapman-Andrews, together you will create a host of comforting yet healthy autumn dishes and accompaniments, a warming drink and a nutritious take on an autumnal dessert, all perfect for sharing with family and friends.
The workshop will:
Show you fresh ways to prepare and cook seasonal ingredients that will help to transform your home cooking.
Raise your ingredients knowledge so you can confidently celebrate the freshness of new season produce; squash, pumpkin, celeriac, wild mushrooms, blackberries, figs and pears, to name but a few.
Demonstrate clever tips and techniques to up your kitchen skills and unleash your creative flair.
Share simple and affordable tricks to style a beautiful seasonal table.
Help you rediscover ways to shop, plan, cook and entertain to make cooking for friends a genuine joy.
Follow up notes and guidance will be provided leaving you free to just cook, create and enjoy during the session, with plenty of opportunity for hands on learning.
Attendees of the taster workshop will take away a packed lunch of the day’s creations to enjoy at home. The half day workshop concludes with a delicious lunch to enjoy the creations made on the day. Refreshments will be provided throughout the sessions.
Prefer a class in the comfort of your own home? Private classes and group workshops can also be arranged for those who prefer to learn at home – one-to-one or with friends – in your own kitchen!
