La Berliga Rumbles On

The third week of La Berliga comes to a close as the table begins to shape up.

Week 3 Match Reports

The first match of the week was a tight affair that ended 23-22 in Atletico Madrink's win over The Real Social Dads.  With this win, Atletico Madrink positions itself at third in the Team Rankings, while the Real Social Dads come back down to earth after their first La Berliga win last week.  A solid team performance and a Man of the Match 7.31 rating from Radu Ichim led Atletico Madrink to victory.  As it was a close game, The Real Social Dads had some good performances from Salvo Davì and Mohammed Oun.

Next, Rubin Kebab suffered another defeat, this time at the hands of Real Coholics in a 20-11 result.  The win puts Real Coholics as joing top of the table, while Rubin Kebab slides further down making it more difficult to replicate their championship of last season.  Julien Adm was the top performer of the match as he won his second Man of the Match award of the young season.

Birrareal put on a defensive show shutting down Shaktar Donuts in a 10-0 victory.  All six players who appeared for Birrareal scored over a 7 with Babacar Diouf receiving the Man of the Match award with an impressive 7.4 rating.  Despite a stellar performance from Matteo Scicchitano, Shaktar Donuts will have to get their offense going if they hope to right the ship.

Werder Beermen celebrate their first victory of the season, a 22-14 win over Pathetic Bilbao.  Pathetic Bilbao is living up to their name as they  are the last team without a win in La Berliga.  Hugo Silva and Cristobal Tejero put in important performances for the Beermen, but it was their teammate Luca De Fabritiis who claimed the Man of the Match award.

Week 4 Matchups

The first match of the week is between two teams at the top of the table Birrareal and Atletico Madrink.  Undefeated Birrareal will be looking to continue their winning ways, while Atletico Madrink could potentially move to first place with a good result. Fubles gives the edge to Atletico Madrink, but this will be a tough clash that could go either way.

Secondly, we see The Real Social Dads take on Werder Beermen.  Both teams have only one win to their names, but Werder Beermen won their last match with The Real Social Dads slipping up last week.  Fubles nearly calls this one a toss-up, giving the slightest of advantages to Werder Beermen.

Top of the table Real Coholics face a challenge from Shaktar Donuts.  After getting blanked in their last game, Shaktar Donuts face a difficult opponent.  Perhaps surprisingly, Fubles gives this as a 50/50.  A draw could be in the works, or could Shaktar Donuts pull off the upset?

In the final match of the week we have Pathetic Bilbao vs. Rubin Kebab.  Pathetic Bilbao is in search of their first win of the season, and they face up against a struggling Rubin Kebab side.  Rubin Kebab are the favorites with 60% for this match.

Tipping Competition

In the third week of tipping four users got all four games correct. Top Players

The four Man of the Match winners this week were Radu Ichim, Julien Adm, Babacar Diouf and Luca De Fabritiis.  All of these winners will receive 10 km free on Driveby.  In the Top Players table, Julien Adm and Babacar Diouf are the first players to win the Man of the Match award twice, so they sit at the top.  Eight players below them are nipping at their heels, and it's still anyone's table to top.
