ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Battlehawks will be participating in the Battle at the Ballpark on Saturday, August 26 at Busch Stadium. The team and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri jointly announced the event in a press release Tuesday.

This high-energy bracket tournament brings people together in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission to help young individuals in their quest for a stable, meaningful, and independent life.

Battlehawks head coach, VP of business and event operations to be guest referees

Battlehawks Head Coach Anthony Becht will be a special guest referee as competitors climb into the ring to compete in this epic battle to crown a Rock-Paper-Scissors champion. Also serving as a guest referee is Battlehawks Vice President of Team Business and Event Operations Brandon Williams.

“We’re going to call it right down the middle,” Becht promised. “We enjoyed working with Big Brothers Big Sisters during the season and this is another great way to help support their efforts.”

In addition to the Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament, participants will be able to try out several other unique experiences in Busch Stadium.

“Participants can enjoy the batting cages, bullpen, and a 360 photo booth behind home plate,” said Kristen Slaughter, Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters. “Parking, food, and beverages are included with your ticket and all of the proceeds go towards helping us with the development of the children in our community.”

Individual tickets are still available for this 21+ Adults Only event, which includes food and beverages. For more information on individual fundraising, sponsorship opportunities & more visit www.bbbsemo.org/battle.
