Illinois State Police arrests three in Washington County death

NASHVILLE/BELLEVILLE – The Illinois State Police (ISP) has arrested three men involved in the death of a Washington County man.

ISP's Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced the arrests Thursday in a news release. The arrests have links to the death of 44-year-old Montez Pearson following an extensive investigation.

Pearson was found dead on July 19 near Lunte Creek Road in rural Washington County near Nashville.

DCI officers would arrest 44-year-old Kevin Loucks Sunday at his Belleville home following the execution of a search warrant. 57-year-old Milton Robinson was taken into custody from his Belleville home on Monday. 45-year-old Arrion Sanders, also of Belleville, was arrested on Thursday. Loucks, Robinson, and Sanders are facing charges of first-degree murder, a Class M felony.

All three suspects are in custody at the Washington County Correctional Center in Nashville. Each of them has a bond of $1 million with 10 percent to apply.

No other information regarding the investigation or the alleged involvement of the suspects were in the press release. In addition, requests for brief comments on the matter would see no response as of publication.
